July 13, 2010.  Dr. Mitchell Ghen consulted with several patients today about the benefits of Fraxel treatments.  Fraxel is a type of laser used for, among other things, treating acne scarring.  It is a five time procedure which softens scars and significantly diminishes their appearance.  Fraxel is a tool which is also used for the removal of melasma pigmentation, which can occur from extended sun damage.  It minimizes dyschromia and spots on the skin along with ‘liver spots’ on the dorsal hands and feet.  Patients who undergo treatment are delighted with the smoothing of minor wrinkles and deep lines, along with the added benefit of tightening the skin, which leaves a more youthful appearance.  The procedure lasts for approximately 10 to 12 minutes, following application of a mild numbing lotion to the area of treatment.  Patients may experience a slight ‘burning’ or tingling sensation, which goes away soon after the treatment ends.  Should you have any questions regarding Fraxel please call Dr. Mitchell Ghen at 561-789-1588.

June 18, 2010 – Dr. Mitchell Ghen met today with two PrimelifeMD members, a chiropractic physician and an aesthetic practitioner, to discuss how to present IV nutrition therapy to patients.   Some of the topics reviewed were the importance of IV nutrition, the relative ease of setting up an IV practice, and the use of the correct IV nutrition as a component of proper skin care as well.

Dr. Ghen also presented how IV nutrition is critical to the restoration of good health and how certain nutritional additives can also mitigate and relieve painful conditions.  His partner and administrator, Daniel Medina, was there to assist in the mini-seminar.

June 13, 2010 – the Dr. Mitch Show today devoted all three hours to listener call-ins.

June 13, 2010 – the Dr. Mitch Show today devoted all three hours to listener call-ins.  Dr. Mitch was joined only by his co-host and daughter, Rebecca, who has a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and added a great deal of  additional insight and expert opinion .  Much of the show dealt with callers’ concerns about the ill effects of stress in their lives, brought about by any number of causes, including losing a loved one, money concerns or sexual underperformance.  Dr. Mitch was able to address the connection between stress induced by outside factors and the body’s ability to cope and avoid adverse physical and psychological effects, by maintaining a proper balance of hormones, vitamins and minerals.  Psychological issues and physiological responses are intimately connected, as Dr. Mitch so clearly explained – always with warmth and humor.

Both Dr. Mitch and his loyal audience look forward to their time together on Sunday mornings, and it’s a toss-up as to who enjoys it more.  Always informative and always entertaining, Dr. Mitch can be heard live every Sunday from 12 to 3 PM on WFTL-850 AM (www.850WFTL.com).
